A Serious Problem?
Problems with Cars
Things You Can Do

Would You Like to Bug Someone?

The most common problems in personal residences are:
  • Baby monitors that transmit voices for blocks
  • Cordless phones that can be easily intercepted
  • Nameless cleaners have access to computers, records
  • No sweeps have been done to discover problems
Each of these has solutions that are easy to understand.

Unfortunately crooks operate web sites and spy shops to sell do-it-yourself sensors that can check phone lines for taps and rooms for transmitters. These devices do not work!

Why would professional sweep firms spend $100,000 for equipment if a $300 device would be helpful?

The problem with the $300 devices is that they report problems from commercial broadcast stations in the area and do not catch common eavesdropping devices.

case study
case title

Our client found that his $500 bug detector had located the problem. It was indicating the location of a transmitter. The only problem was that it said the hidden transmitter was in the middle of the room.  In the air!

Using a spectrum analyzer (which would have cost him $25,000) we demonstrated that there was indeed a peak of electromagnetic intensity at that spot -- but that it was from a local TV station.

Junk electronics will not help to locate listening devices.
